Mailscanner fraud attempt in civimail
December 08, 2014, 12:27:20 pm
Here at FF Towers we're trying to send an xmas appeal, but are encountering the following issue:

We’d be incredibly grateful for your support if you are able to get involved in this way too. Here’s the link to the appeal page: MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "networks.futurefirst.org.uk" claiming to be https://www.justgiving.com/FFchristmasappeal.

We think it's because the links themselves are tracked by civi, so go to a civi address.

What is the best way to circumprevent this?

Hi John

we have hit this in past and have just had to  persist with the host/whoever to disable MailScanner altogether for messages from relevant addresses. ie they should be able to provide a white list entry for the civimail to escape the mailscanner
