Where do I find the Participant ID to update participant data?
December 09, 2014, 03:23:01 pm
I've been trying to import participants to an event for a few hours now, and finally figured out that I was running into a problem that others have posted about in this forum:

http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,24949.msg105209.html#msg105209
http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,22497.msg94352.html#msg94352

The answer to my problem is: "if you are wanting to add Participant Records, use SKIP, so you can  create new ones, if you want to update Participant records, use Update  but that won't let you create new ones."

But, when I do want to update participants records (I have a column of "participant notes" that i want to add to these participant nodes), it requires that I indicate the Participant ID. Where do I find the Participant ID in order to export it and import it again? Or, is there another way?

Thanks!
