Can't add field to option group

Dear all,

I've been trying to add a contribution status, "sent", via option groups. While the screen says that I can "Add, Edit or Delete them from this screen", in fact I can't find an 'Add' Option (screenshot attached).

Do you have any idea how I might proceed?

Do you need to update your profile?  In 4.4.9 it is still possible, though not advisable, to add contribution statuses.

From 4.5 on, creation of new contribution statuses via the UI is no longer possible.  See https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-14445 for information on why this was done. 

I have created an issue to update the information text for the options groups which are now "locked" in the UI.

WARNING to other people who might find this post: If you are on an earlier version than 4.5, you really shouldn't add custom contribution statuses even though you can.  When you upgrade to 4.5 you will be in a whole heap of trouble if you do.
