Customize Event Registration by Event Type

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to customize an event template registration by event type? So not so much the form, but some of the wording that appears on all event registration pages like:

Quote
Welcome Username. (Not Username, or want to register a different person?)

I want to leave as is for some event types, but add/edit wording for others and change the link that is part of that notice.

Any thoughts on this would be helpful.

The event type should be one of the Smarty template variables set on the form.

If so, then you could write a Mail.extra.tpl file that triggers jQuery based on this variable being one type or the other.
