Civi 4.5.4 and kcfinder on iis

Hope this is the correct forum for this.  I'm not entirely certain that it only pertains to a Windows environment.

Don't know if others are experiencing this, but on some Civi upgrade, there was an update to kcfinder.  Since then, we get an "Unknown Error" message on the kcfinder pop up when we try to add an image to an event or mailing.

I believe it may have something to do with the /\ that we need to use on IIS for the CiviCRM directories.
Update: Playing with the slashes does not appear to fix the issue.

We would like to use IMCE that we use on the rest of the site to upload images, but can't find a way to set that.

When I go to Display Preferences, WYSIWYG Editor options, I don't see "Default Drupal Editor" available as an option.  The only options are Textara, TinyMCE and CKEditor (which is the default Drupal editor and uses IMCE).

If I select CKEditor, it brings up kcfinder with this url: www.example.com/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/kcfinder/browse.php?cms=civicrm&type=images&CKEditor=description&CKEditorFuncNum=140&langCode=en.

If I select TinyMCE, it brings up kcfinder.

I found other links to changing to IMCE, but those are older versions of Civi (3.4.2) and don't know if they still apply.

Have tried this: https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-12975 to no avail.

Any thoughts?
