Fresh install and have a few issues
May 29, 2008, 07:47:59 pm
After I installed civiCRM. I go to setup the config in Joomla admin and I get a white screen with this error message:

"CiviCRM requires PHP Version 5.2 or greater. You are running PHP Version 4.4.8"

I know for a fact we are using this version: PHP version 5.2.6

Any ideas please?

Did you run a phpinfo() to confirm? Or look at Help > System Info from within Joomla.

May have just fixed it in Cpanel. I ran an update php config and now I can see the CRM config.

The error check uses the PHP_VERSION constant to determine if the right version is running. So its got to be something on the server with the php install.
