Greetings,

Previously we have had a long running problem getting site membership join transactions to complete properly... that went on for years until being resolved here:

However, the problem appears only resolved for the PayJunction Credit Card gateway. PayPal as a processor is still broken same as it has been since CiviCRM 2.0.7 on Drupal 5.x. Here is what PayPal gateway transactions continue to do incorrectly:

• PayPal recurring dues and donations have to be manually done in Civi
• PayPal new memberships get stuck at pending in Civi

Can someone suggest what else might be wrong with PayPal transactions that was not corrected in order to successfully process PayJunction Credit Card transactions without error?
