Hi,

- J!: 3.3.6
- CiviCrm: 4.5.5

I am trying to create a J! user group that only has read only access to contacts. I seem to have accomplished this with the exception of the "Tags (Categories)" which while not editable (which is good) still ultimately displays the list of categories that the user can click into and then they get an error message saying an error occurred. This is disconcerting to the user (and means I get a support call ;-)). Any chance we can have it so that the check boxes are read only?

Would be great if you can investigate and submit a PR to fix this issue. Should be a relatively easy fix since most of the code is already present. You need to check permissions and if view-only, freeze the QF element and do not process the submitted form
