Hello,
We use direct-debit to handle the contributions for our summercamps. Therefore we eagerly awaited the new partial-payments functionality.
Unfortunately we do not seem to design the workflow to work correctly with initial direct-debit deposits.

What we would like to accomplish. Our summercamp fee is 150 euro

• 50 euro initial deposit
• 100 euro remaining contribution

April 1st we want to run the initial deposit contributions (via SEPA direct debit). The remainder will be handled July 1st.

We think of different scenario's
1) Would there be a way to edit one piece of a price-set to a status of completed by an import function? Or can only amount be added regardless of the price-set?
2) We could talk to the SEPA direct DD team to have the contribution manually split at xml generation for the Direct Debit runs.
3) Very nice would be to have the parents pay the initial deposit through credit card / paypal / etc. And have them handle the remainder by us through direct debit.

Anyone with experience or ideas on this? Probably needs some work on the import function or api part of civicontribute, would it?
