CiviPledge interaction with contribution page

Hi, everyone. I am a relatively new programmer when it comes to web dev.

The problem lies in how I can't quite point the contribution page (configured to be a pledge page) to update the pledges. No errors occur during confirmation of pledge, just that the pledge database isn't updated/inserted to with the data from the contribution page.

Everything is done in a local PC using WordPress + MySQL with default contribution page.
