ugly error message when mysql not available
June 01, 2008, 12:43:48 am
Hi,

I just visited one of my drupal/civicrm sites and got the error below. Is there a way to get the error handling to be more robust? eg to still show the website or to give the drupal site offline message?

This seems to be happening because the mysql server for civicrm is down for maintenance - supposedly in "read/lock" mode.

Cheers,

Tobias

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred. The error trace below might help to resolve the issue

Array
(
    [callback] => Array
        (

  • => CRM_Core_Error
  • [1] => handle
            )

Code: [Select]
=> -24
    [message] => DB Error: connect failed
    [mode] => 16
    [debug_info] =>  [DB Error: connect failed]
    [type] => DB_Error
    [user_info] =>  [DB Error: connect failed]
    [to_string] => [db_error: message="DB Error: connect failed" code=-24 mode=callback callback=CRM_Core_Error::handle prefix="" info=" [DB Error: connect failed]"]
)
