Hello guys,

I just found a contact in our data that only has one phone number and it's not set as primary.
The contact is also not on hold (sms or phone).

Does any one have an idea on how this could happen?

Do you have any idea how the contact came in? Is a result of an event registration? Did it come in with an API request?

Hello Erik,

The contact came in via our webforms.
I've look at other contacts that registered in the same way and time as the ones we found the problem but they are OK.
I can't find any pattern around the few contacts that I've encountered this issue.

It is impossible to find out what happened from the data so I am afraid I can not explain this. I would tend to treat it as an incident but keep a watchful eye out :-)

If you could scan the data of some of your installs to determine if this is the case for you as well, that would be a great help.

you lost me :-) What is the case for me in some of our installs? If the problem you sketched is in our databases? Even if it would, it could mean many things so I am not sure what we are trying to achieve?

Dear Erik,

Apologies if I was unclear: What I meant was is this happening in any of your installs (that you've contacts with a phone number, neither of which is primary).

This will help us determine whether or not this is caused by one of our legacy customisations or if it's determined by CiviCore.

I understand

That would not help however as each of our installs has customizations and data that was imported from migrations. So we would be left with the same puzzle? All I can say that none of our customers ever reported such an issue.
