using checksum with a profile
January 15, 2015, 03:12:36 pm
I have tried several ways to get a simple profile to populate using the checksum token.

I am using Wordpress, civicdm 4.4.
I created a page, unprotected and public, using profile number, say 324.  The preview gives me the blank form, as I would expect.
I send a message to myself including a link to that page using the following code:
ournonprofit.org/civicrm/profile/edit&reset=1&gid=324&id={contact.contact_id}&{contact.checksum}
When clicking on the link I get Uh Oh! The page you are looking for cannot be found...

Can anyone help me figure this out?  Please?

not sure if this helps but at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Tokens

it shows this link for WP sites

WordPress: http://www.myorganization.org/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/profile/edit&reset=1&gid=N&{contact.checksum}&id={contact.contact_id}

The word 'edit' in the URL should be followed by a '?' not a '&'

Oops! I missed that this was WordPress. My suggestion won't work.
