inscruitable error message
January 16, 2015, 02:22:59 pm
I recently upgraded from 4.4.10 -> 4.5.5 under drupal6.

Everything seemed fine at first.  However, when I tried to edit an Individual Contact record (add a phone number ) I got this error:
   "Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
    DB Error: syntax error"

Is there a way to get a more verbose message?

We only have a couple hundred contacts and, so far, it is only acting up on this one person.  I have edited other records with no problems, but I can't say for certain that the problem is only for this one record.

Go to Administer -> System Settings -> Debugging and enable both debug and backtrace.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.
