Credit Card Expiration Date Validation

I'm wondering, is there a reason why the error validation for expiration date checks if the month/year combination is valid, but does not check if month is selected? 

For example, I can enter "2008" for the year, leave the month blank, and the code validates it with no problem.  This seems like a rather basic requirement that both month *and* year should be required.

What's the best way to add this?

this is a bug, can you please file an issue and we'll fix it in 2.1

You will need to fix the function currentDate to ensure that both mon and year have a value

yes, u need to sign up for an account, http://issues.civicrm.org/. hopefully all applications will be openID enabled sometime real soon and these multiple account issues will disappear :)

Ah ok ... I've posted an issue on this, but I think I entered the wrong affects/fix versions info.  Sorry about that.
