Custom CSS for front end only?
January 24, 2015, 07:26:10 am
I have customized my CSS to match the front end of my Joomla site, but it is wreaking havoc with the back end. Is there any way to differentiate between the two?

How did you customize it? I am asking if you edited the CiviCRM CSS files or the CSS of your Joomla template.

I created a custom CSS file and referenced it in the resource URLs

I have exactly the same problem - I also created a custom.css - as yet I have no solution

I suppose it depends on your Joomla theme but I would think you could specify that certain CSS rules be applied only to front end pages by using high-level CSS selectors (id's or classes) that are only found on such pages.
