Add contact Id to url on Confirmation Screen

I would like to create a custom url on the confirmation/thank you screen that ends with the contact ID. I have tried including {contact.contact_id} but the token is not replaced with the value. Is this supported? I have also tried adding it to the confirmation email with no avail.

How are you trying to do this? By changing the PHP file? In the Smarty template?

I was trying to use the code in the confirmation/thank you screen field inside an event.

Okay, so you are using a token. Try {contact.id}?

The token is what I tried but the output was just {contact.id} instead of the value.

Seems like tokens are not available on that thank you mail then. What are you trying to achieve with the URL?
