Problem Setting Up Moneris Processor
January 29, 2015, 04:33:15 pm
Hello Everyone, I have a Canadian organization that wants to use Moneris.  I set them all up, downloaded the Canadian PHP files and put mpgClasses.php in the Services directory, but I can not get the processor to work.  Right now I am stuck on invalid API Token.  None of the information I have been able to find on the wiki or the forums works anymore, and the patch file is missing.  There is no where in the settings to input the API Token and I tried hard coding it into the mpgclasses.php file but no luck.  Can anyone help me out figuring out how to get this working?

Hey Dan:

I'm working on an extension replacement to the core moneris plugin, it's here: https://github.com/adixon/ca.civicrm.moneris

When I looked at the core stuff, it looks so old I don't think it's worth trying to patch.

In any case, try my extension on a dev or staging site and feel free to submit patches, reports, etc

Thanks Alan.  I actually got it settled for the client that I was trying to set up, I discovered that not only did the API Token need to be hard coded into the mpgClasses.php file (since there is no field for it in Civi) but I also had to change the hard coded URL in that file so it didn't point to the test servers.  I'm glad to hear that you are working on an extension though since I saw talk of the core plugin being discontinued, which would explain the current state it is in.  I will try to get a chance to play with your extension some and see if I can break it :)
