Joomla Access Control in Civicrm not working
January 31, 2015, 07:14:27 pm
Hi

I am pretty new to this and having an issue

I am using Joomla 3.3.6 and CiviCRM 4.5.5

It all installed beautifully but now I am having an issue with access control

When I go to Administer Permissions Joomla Access Control, I get this message

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: http://access.asn.au/media/jui/js/jquery.min.js:2

If I continue, I can change the access levels but they won't save

Anyone who could help it will be most appreciated

Thanks

I am having the same problem.  For CiviCRM only, when I click either Save it opens up the Global Configuration page.  The other interesting aspect.  When I go to Joomla Access Control (in Permissions (Access Control) in CiviCRM, the page that opens shows com_civicrm_configuration as the title on the top, CiviCRM is listed on the left.  It takes a while to pull up the permissions, and most of the time I get an error that the script is running long.  When I Save, it goes to the Global Configuration, it lists com_civicrm on the left menu.  When I click on com_civicrm from the Global Configuration screen, it switches back to CiviCRM and then takes forever to load, with no changes.  I am looking at what Net is showing the debugging tools.
