New report UI not working [SOLVED]
February 01, 2015, 11:27:46 am
After upgrading to civicrm 4.6 alpha 4 I cannot get the new report UI working on two independent sites.
One was a drupal 7.34 on 4.6 alpha 2 and another one a joomla 3.3 site on 4.5.5.

I get a sort of hybrid result with tabs at the top but also the orderby and filters at their old position. Clicking the tabs at the top has no effect.
Caches are cleared, templates_c folder emptied.

I am happy to cooperate in some more testing to help get this fixed.

Also filed a JIRA issue for this: https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-15902

Could you please disable extensions and custom tpl overrides on your site?

Disabling the 'Extended report' extension fixed this issue for us.

Is there a way to mark this thread as 'solved'?

It's not very high-tech but we can mark things as solved by editing the subject of the original message in the thread.

Hey John maybe you could take a look at what's breaking in Extended Reports (probably something simple) and submit a PR to that extension.

Would probably be worth testing out the latest version first, looks like some commits in the latest version might have fixed the problem. I'll ping Eileen.

I made some changes in the extension - but not all that's required because I felt like https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-15941 needed to be resolved in order to decide how to go forwards
