Profile Form Error
February 02, 2015, 12:54:50 pm
I apologize in advance if this topic has been posted elsewhere. I searched every phrase I could think of and found nothing.

Civi install: Wordpress 4.1; Civi 4.5.5
Problem tested and confirmed on Window 7/Chrome and Macbook/Crhome
Javascript console is on and shows no errors or warnings.

Objective: display a form for registering via Civi and having a Wordpress user account created.

I created a stand alone profile with one field: email address
I indicated that a Wordpress account should be created upon completion.

I created a new Wordpress page, click the CiviCRM button, selected "Profile" and the profile I wanted, checked "Create," saved my changes.

The short code looks like this:
[civicrm component="profile" gid="27" mode="create"]

When I look at the page on the front end (both when I am logged in to Wordpress and not), I get this:

Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
id (value: ) is not of the type Positive

I am able to preview the form via Civi without any problems.

I've tried disabling plug-ins. I've tried turning the Captcha requirement on and off. I have cleared my browser cache and the Wordpress cache.

Nothing seems to help.

Anyone else have this problem and know of possible solutions?

Thanks!
