Fatal Error: Maximum Execution Time

I have received error:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 20 seconds exceeded in
/home/my_host_data/htdocs/libraries/joomla/filesystem/folder.php on line 363

What I can to do?

Increase max_execution_time in your php settings.

My admin can't increase max_execution_time to 60
What is minimum required
Have you another propositions?
It is only for installation or for work too?

You *may* be able to install it manually. But you'll inevitably run into the same error when using the program. Really needs to be higher than 20 sec.
