Recurring event - 4.6.alpha4 - change all occurrences doesn't work [FIXED]

I created an event in 4.6.alpha4, set it to repeat (creating children), then changed a detail (eg the Price Set on the Fees tab) and pressed 'Save and Done' - a dialog box appears asking me which events to update, and I say 'all'. The changed detail doesn't appear in the other occurrences.

(I observe it has been fxed in 4.6.beta3)

I believe this is now fixed in beta 2.

Coleman, in 4.6.beta3 no changes are applied to any of the events when I select "change all events".

I just tried changing the title of event 1 in a recurring set of 3. I selected "all events" as what should be changed, and the result was that all 3 events now have the new title.

Well, Coleman, I have to eat my words. I can now edit events as expected. I don't know why that didn't work.

At the time I was unable to edit events, I was on a train with limited internet connectivity. Would that have an effect???
