I feel like this is a super basic question with an obvious answer, but I cannot seem to find Membership IDs anywhere. I've looked on reports and in the membership entries themselves. I'm trying to determine if we are going to be able to import monthly membership data from our POS but I can't update any membership info in Civi without the Membership ID. So I need to get it out of Civi and into our POS. Can someone please tell me where to find it?

Membership > Find Members then Search will bring up all the members in your system.

From the 'actions' dropdown select Export members and click on Go.

You can choose Export Primary fields, which will export heaps of fields, many of which could be empty, or you can choose Select fields for export and choose to export only the fields you really need.

You need to be aware that as well as Membership Id you will need membership type and membership start date if you want to import membership updates through the GUI. (See Import Memberships in http://book.civicrm.org/user/current/common-workflows/importing-data/ )
