Direct list of organizations
February 06, 2015, 02:45:18 am
I have registered organizations and individuals. I want to show only my organizations and not individuals. I use Profile View Page, but it starts with a search form. I don't want that. How do I avoid the search form and view my organizations immediately?
Regards

Hi Rudy,
have you checked the chapter on profiles in the CiviCRM book? I believe you should find your answer there....if not, shout back :-)

I'd realy looked for an option to list the members without having to have a search form at the top. I can't find this option. I want an excact list with only the members in a certain cathegory. No search!

You can do this by adding an API call?

Thanks for insulting me  ;D I am trying to help you....

I was assuming you want to build a page or form with a list of members, so assuming you could do some coding. Have you read the chapter on profiles? As I am a Drupal user I would use Drupal Views to get such a list, but that does not work on Joomla :-) So I have not played with profiles for a long time.

No, today “Nerd” is not an insult anymore. :)

Rudy, have you seen this page:

Perhaps that will help you.

Dear Erik, I certainly had no intention to offend you. I think you all do a great unselfish work for others to use CiviCRM. A big thank you for that!

I just meant that I do not code so much and I just could not figure out how I use the API.

Hershel, I have now looked at what you are proposing. Do you know if it works in Joomla too?

I believe so. Give it a try and either way, let us know here. Perhaps we can then update that wiki page to clarify that if works for any CMS.
