Can't search on activities?
February 08, 2015, 08:23:13 pm
I have set up a price set with an event fee (select) and activities requiring a fee (checkbox). For activities I have dinner and camping fee. I can't find a way to filter the participants by activity. How would you set up a price set or event to allow you to get a list of everyone who paid for the dinner?

Hi paul. long time since i used it but we built this custom search for Price Set searching. Things may have changed lots but worth checking i think

civicrm/contact/search/custom?csid=9&reset=1

oh and to avoid confusion, i take it you are not talking about civicrm Activities - and think it might help if you can use a non-civi term to describe your 'event options'

Thank you I am just starting with this... plus I have to teach others now. I was not aware of Search - Custom Searches - Price Set Details for Event Participants. This is very useful. I wish it would total the columns at the bottom.

Yes 'activities' term is overloaded. I am trying to figure out if I should put the meeting 'field trips' into price sets, profiles, or activities. Very confusing. I need to be able to filter on these and get totals.
