Add some cascading deletes
February 09, 2015, 03:46:57 pm
It is extremely tedious to delete the fields one by one for a custom data set. It should be possible to set up cascading deletes either using database relationships or code. When a set of custom fields is deleted you are hit with this error if you haven't gone in and deleted each field. If a user is deleting a set it is safe to delete all the related fields.

Deletion Error
The Group 'Annual Meeting 2015 Activities' cannot be deleted! You must Delete all custom fields in this group prior to deleting the group.

You can delete a custom group/fields in code using the CiviCRM API? Are you familiar with that?
