UI for GroupContact db fields email_id and location_id (for mailings)
February 10, 2015, 05:32:55 am
Hi there,

as I read here

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/CiviMail+Reference#CiviMailReference-Location/Emailselection

and verified in my 4.5.6 and 4.6 alpha 5 installations, the civi db contains fields for information about a contact's location preferences as being a member of a certain group.

I just updated the API code to get access to those fields when programmatically assigning contacts to groups.

But when it comes to editing parameters of a membership in civi's gui, it seems there is yet no functionality implemented.

So my question is: Did anybody start working on it or is any approach being discussed?

Thanks in advance // nielo
