Custom fields not included in WHERE clause for accounting batch transactions (Bug?)
February 13, 2015, 10:34:32 am
I've added a custom field associated with contributions and tagged it as "searchable". When setting the search criteria for transactions to be included in the selection list for an accounting batch, I am able to enter a search value in the custom field, but it is ignored by the process that filters the transactions to be displayed. Is this a bug, or have I possibly missed something in setting up the custom field? (This does work as expected if I am simply doing a "Find Contributions" search.) I'm running in a local test environment on 4.5.6

Thanks for posting.

I've investigated this for you on the demo site but cannot tell if you are talking about "Batch Update for Contributions" (see attached) or Batch Data entry: http://d45.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/batch?reset=1

Could you please elaborate?

Thanks for looking into this.
I'm actually working in "Accounting Batches", not "Batch Data Entry".
The URL for filtering contributions and adding them to a batch is http://d45.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/batchtransaction?reset=1&bid=1
I've also attached a screen shot of that screen.
