Set WordPress permissions to CiviCRM only
February 13, 2015, 04:20:13 pm
Hello,

I've browsed all over the forums and haven't found a solution. Please excuse me if I missed something.

I recently installed CiviCRM to my organization's web server (Bluehost if that matters) using WordPress as the CMS. WP leaves a lot to be desired in terms of native user access control. Is there a way, via plugin or other means, I can set up a class of user that only has access to CiviCRM within Wordpress, but not the rest of my organization's website? Most of the people in our organization will need to interface with CiviCRM within WP, but have no business tweaking anything else in WP. For instance, I can envision all sorts of problems with the presence of an "events" tab for our website on the left hand menu and a CiviCRM "events" tab on the top menu.

Thanks in advance for your help.
