The event registration page for a paid event has a section for billing address. There is a check box to "Use same address as above" so the billing address becomes the same as the event registration name and address. This function does not seem to work.

Is there a problem or bug with this function. If so, is there a solution or can it be turned off?

I am using CiviCRM 4.5.3 on Word Press.

I am not a techie, so my help will be virtually non-existent.

However, the thing that jumped out at me is that you are on 4.5.3 The point increments in the 4.5 series are security updates (4.5.5) and fixes for bugs/regressions.

I think you should upgrade to 4.5.6 (the most recent at the time of this post) and see if the problem still exists.

I did the upgrade to 4.5.6 and it seems to correct the problem with "same billing address as above".
