Go back in Browser --> always goes to 1 page of report..

When you have a list / report and you are at page 4 you click on a contact. see some information. And than want to go back (with backspace or the button Previous page in your browser). You will always get the first page of the report.

Is there a way to fix this. Because it does not work well this way.

Thanks.

It can be annoying.

My workaround is to 'centre click' on the contact so that their information opens in another tab. When I close that tab the report is displaying the page containing that name.

Hello Joanne,

Thank you! Nice workaround. I shall do this now.

Do you or someone else know if this will be fixed in a new update?

Thanks.

Hi Mark Johan,

that is hard to answer for a full open source project :-) Although we do have a small core team at CiviCRM we do rely a lot on community support. That means that community members (like Joanne and me) do our best to answer forum post on a daily basis as part of our CiviCRM work. There is a list of CiviCRM issues at https://issues.civicrm.org/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspa and you can add an issue there if you think a fix is required. Then it will be part of the general CiviCRM workload.
If you desperately need the 'fix' you always have the option to either fix it yourself if you have the expertise, or pay a local developer to do so. Otherwise you rely on the community, which does IMO fix issues at a fair speed, but I do not think this one will get the critical priority.
