When I register online for an event, I get another billing email address

I had 2 contacts in my test database.

Contact X DOES NOT have an email address for the default location. Contact Y does.

Every time I register X for an event and 'pay' online, it gets a new billing email address (it now has 4).
Every time I do that for Y, it does the right thing and doesn't add the billing email address.

Has anyone experienced that before? Is this a bug?

Same idea as your last post...are these paid events and if so are you using Paypal? This one is probably related to this issue:

http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-2366

So same thing - verify you are on latest 2.0 release, and if this is still not working and you are using PayPal then comment on the above issue. Report back with your findings and if this is related.

Thanks for your prompt response!

I'm running 2.0.3, and my payment processor is a contributed one for eway.com.au, that was derived from the Authorize.net one.

My contact X was created in 2.0a - I'll test this with a new contact and see what happens.
