Dear fellow CiviCRM users,

I'm just setting up my first online registration workflow with CiviCRM and have found myself unable to make certain things work as desired/needed.

Since I couldn't find the solution in the docs or the forum, I would be very grateful for any hints to solve the following problems:

1. If several persons are registered together, the confirmation email should be sent only to the first person. [Standard behaviour is that one confirmation email is sent to every registered person]

2. We're not using any payment providers but would instead like our particiants to receive an invoice as a PDF document after registration. The invoice could either be attached to the confirmation email or to a second, separate email which is automatically sent together with (follwing) the confirmation mail. [This could probably be done with a cron job?]

Not sure why you haven't gotten any response, but I know automatic invoicing is included in 4.6 https://civicrm.org/blogs/tonymazz/civicrm-46-will-support-sales-tax-vat-and-invoicing

You might get by with a simple invoice by using 'pay later', attach PDF receipt' and customizing the receipt format and workflow for auto sending.  This will not be 'out of the box' functinality, so be prepared for custom coding that is beyond my ability to help.  Several others have asked similar questions- I'd google more if your pushing ahead. 

Anything too non-standard will require custom coding due to the complexities of the system.
