This has been the behavior for some time and happens on the demo site - if you do a wildcard search for Activities, there are plenty of them, yet none appear in the dashlet.

I've recently done a site using CiviMember and ended up creating a custom report and exposing it as a dashlet, but the ability to filter (which is not available "out of the box") would be very handy here.

In any event, showing 0 of 0 entries isn't very useful - am I missing something here? I'm on Drupal 7 and 4.4.5, but like I said, I see this on the demo site, so it's not a version issue.
