Running reports by address attribute
February 21, 2015, 09:08:34 pm
Hi,

The Australian charity I volunteer with has recently stated using civiCRM for our membership records (and other activities), which is making my life heaps easier.

I am still finding my way around the systems' functionality, and being very non-technical I cannot work out how to run reports for members (or contacts) by state/province, city, postal code or any other geographical attribute? I am sure this would be a common information need for many organisations.

Our website developer who installed the system hasn't been able to assist. Any guidance or advice would be much appreciated

Paul

It looks like the Membership reports do not have location filters, but I agree this would be a great thing to add.
Are you interested in sponsoring this improvement? I think it would be relatively simple/inexpensive.
Try asking your question on the new CiviCRM help site.

What's involved in sponsoring an improvement? And any approximate cost of relatively inexpensive? ;D
