What file to update tokens?

I am trying to use Coleman's blog on token's for contribution pages. Silly question but where should I put this code and the code I have developed? What file?

Hey Kate, in wordpress you can place it in your functions.php file. See http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Hook+Reference#HookReference-Implementinghooks
