Can you export directly into quickbooks format?
June 06, 2008, 10:00:41 am
I have searched and found poeple asking about this feature but I can not find it functional.  I did find you can export into csv file.  Then that would have to be imported into s spreadsheet and manipulated than taken into Quickbooks.

Is there an easier way to download financial data into Quickbooks?

Many thanks in advance!

I have not seen any code integration as yet. I was exploring what needs to be done to make this happen, here are a few links i found that might give u start:

http://www.qbisoftware.com/
http://idnforums.intuit.com/messageview.aspx?catid=56&threadid=9164&STARTPAGE=1&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear
http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&cPath=40_41&products_id=144

Unfortunately QB APIs are windows only and we dont have expertise on building on a windows platform. If you do make progress on this, please do post back

If you have the $$$, probably the easiest option is to use a commercial product.

and a custom script developed for Membership/Contribution/Event
