Extensions not set or writable
February 27, 2015, 01:55:55 pm
I have noticed a few times that I get this warning and a link to

civicrm/admin/setting/path?reset=1

to set it.

And while the solution doesn't always rest here (ie probably needs chown of the directory), sometimes the setting is (also) missing at

civicrm/admin/setting/url?reset=1

so i wonder if the help message might need to point people to this as well

Pete - If you want to write up some expanded warning message text - I can get it into the code :-)

Thanks Dave

Suggestion

Directory Unwritable
Your extensions directory is not set or is not writable.

If not set: check your <A href="/civicrm/admin/setting/path?reset=1&civicrmDestination=%2Fcivicrm%2Fadmin%2Fextensions%3Freset%3D1">Extensions Directory</a> settings.

You may also need to check your settings for Extensions in <a href="/civicrm/admin/setting/url?reset=1&civicrmDestination=%2Fcivicrm%2Fadmin%2Fextensions%3Freset%3D1">Resources</a>

If they are correctly set, then you may need to change the 'owner' of the Extensions directory

There'll have to be a call to get the Base URL as well, those links will only work on Drupal/Clean URLs, but good catch Pete!
