How to make a custom field in profile as a primary key in database
June 06, 2008, 08:59:01 pm

    HI,

I created a profile with some custom field in civicrm 1.9. The custom fields are like Application Id, Grant Type etc. I want the custom Field

Application Id  as a primary key and to  auto increment it when i fill up the form.

Can someone give me suggestion on that.

    Thanks in advance

1. please take the time and energy to read the board before posting (i.e. posting in General topics (no support requests please)) is not a good idea

2. not sure what you mean by "primary key" in database. primary keys are related tables. Also you should use 2.0 since that is the more recent and supported version. We do not support v1.9

    Hi,

First, i created a custom data group and gave the group a name. In the custom group setting , in the "used for" label , i made it individual.

After that , i created a profile using those custom field. The custom field , i made were Application ID , Grant type , Grant Round etc.

Now i want to know in which table of the database , these custom field are stored?  I also want to make Application id of the profile as

   primary key.

  Thanks in advance
