It would be great if CiviCRM had a status page comparable to Drupal's - there are already a bunch of checks, but they're ad-hoc.  We should be able to find all our configuration issues in one place, have it be easily extensible, and easily monitored by an outside tool (like Andrew's CiviMonitor extension for Nagios).
