Possible searching bug
March 08, 2015, 09:16:55 am
My task for today was simple: Find all individuals not in a given group and add them to the group. My plan for doing this was to create a Custom Search (type Include / Exclude Search), click the Contact Type column header, select the records and act on them.

However, there is some very strange behavior.

The search works properly and when the results are first shown, clicking the check box (or the column header for all check boxes) results in the tag showing xxx Selected records only and the Actions dropdown become enabled. If I click the column header once (sort descending), the behavior is correct. However, If I click the column header twice (to sort ascending), when I select the various records, the label shows 0 Selected records only. The only way to 'fix' the problem is to start the search afresh.

I also noticed that after I perform some action on selected records, the Contact Type column header disappears. Further, the issue with the label's showing 0 Selected records only occurs.

This behavior is repeatable.
