CiviCRM migration from one server to another Joomla 2.5
March 09, 2015, 06:44:22 am
Hi,

I have migrate CiviCRM from one server to another server. I have followed below mentioned documentation for that.

Referred link : http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location

After migration if I go to the CiviCRM its showing "Initialization Error"
[nativecode=1146 ** Table 'ngosoftware_dmbf.civicrm_domain' doesn't exist]

and I tried to create domain table its not allowing. Its trowing some error "#1005 - Can't create table 'databasename.civicrm_domain' (errno: 150) (Details…).

If I tried to reinstall CiviCRM, after uploading CiviCRM zip file it redirecting to old website(from where I have migrated this site).

 Help me to solve this issue.

Thanks,
Ashwin KS

sounds like you didn't migrate your civicrm tables correctly or completely, as that table is missing.
may want to try doing another export from your old server and reimport to your new server.
