When using the searches such as "Search ... Find Contacts" and choosing a very simple criteria (such as only individuals, or only one static group), the "select some" feature does not work. What I am doing:

1) Clicking "Search ... Find Contacts" , then choosing the filter as just one static group, then clicking the "search" button

2) In the list of results, I click the special checkbox in the same row as the column headings. Visually, this seems to work as all the checkboxes on this page get checked.

However the area at the top labeled "0 Selected records only" never changes from 0.   (I have attached a screen print to this thread)

FYI: If I check the checkboxes one by one, then the number then changes from 0 to the number checked.

(I have seen this happen with version 4.4.7 and 4.5.5)

Since the number of selected records never changes from 0, none of the actions work as I get the standard error message "Please select 1 or more contacts for this action"

Any ideas on what I should check to investigate this issue?
