Network Error Unable to reach the server
March 11, 2015, 12:55:06 pm
Hi - i recently upgraded a site to civicrm 4.5.8 and started receiving this network error message whenever I attempt to access the contribution tab in a contact record.  The other tabs seem to work fine.  The same error occurs whether I have "skip ids" permissions implemented or not.  The Firefox console shows no information on the error.  This is a drupal 7 installation running civicrm.  Appreciate any help I can get in fixing this issue.

Network Error
Unable to reach the server. Please refresh this page in your browser and try again.

Thanks so much,

Carrette

Hi Coleman - thanks for your help.  Debugging still did not show any errors in the FF console, but disabling the extensions worked.  One of the extensions I had installed was the "add contribution tabs" extension and disabling it solved the problem.

Thanks again.

Cool. You might want to post on the github page for that extension so they know about the incompatibility.

I had a similar problem trying to view/edit event records.
The problem was caused by a recent Drupal upgrade that overwrote the htaccess file, and the redirect rule I had in place to direct user to access the site without WWW prefix.

Quick fix to add the rewrite and the problem was solved.
