Civimember: token for membership end date not working

Is anyone able to get the token for membership end date to work? Mine displays nothing. I've setup a scheduled event to print a membership card, all fields that i have used work except these two, Any ideas?

Paid thru: {membership.end_date}
Member since: {membership.join_date}

generally membership tokens will only work when fired from a membership 'action' - these should therefore work for 'scheduled jobs' involving memberships

Yes, that is correct. I've tried all tokens and this one does not work.

i will try to nudge eileen to comment - she has done some work on extending membership tokens

issues that affect this are if someone has more than one membership - so she created other tokens such as "Latest Current Memberships End Date'

but i don't think you should need those if you are using a Membership-based Scheduled Reminder since they are working 'off' the membership directly

My case only one membership category, so not that complicated. And yes, in my case Membership-based Scheduled Reminder.

This extension contains some additional tokens such as 'latest membership' for situations where a contact may have more than a single membership

Having the same problem here.  All tokens in the scheduled renewal reminders are working fine EXCEPT the membership tokens.  Membership Type and Membership Start Date are not appearing in the reminder.  I just noticed the problem but it seems to have started somewhere around November.  Used to work just fine.
