Running:
J!:  3.4.0
Php:  5.4.37
MySQL: 5.5.41
CiviCRM: 4.5.8

I just received a membership request and payment on someone that had previously created a request, but it was still pending, since they evidently never went forward with the online payment.

Evidently the plugin gave them the Expired Membership contribution/renewal page when they should have gotten the 'No Valid Membership' menu item.   

Not sure if there's an issue with the latest CiviCRM or Joomla !!

please post the issue to the issue tracker for the extension:

and provide more details about your config for that plugin. screenshots of the config would be helpful.

Sorry ... I haven't been back here in a while, so I've not had a chance to update anything here.     Now Civi 4.6 is released, but I'm seeing plenty of issues on Joomla sites.  So I'm holding off on that upgrade.

As far as this issue is concerned, I'll be back with all the data tomorrow evening.
