Hi!
I work for a charity that has an annual, week long bike tour to raise money. Each participant is required to raise a minimum amount of money in order to go on the tour.
A contribution page that allows for soft credits and personal campaign pages seem like they will work nicely for ensuring participants get credit for their solicited contributions.
However, we have some funds come in as pledges to donate. The problem is pledges doesn't seem to have a concept of a soft credit. It also seems I can't do printed bills from pledges. In fact, the pledges functionality seems quite limited.
I'm wondering if the only way I could possibly implement this process is to add a payment instrument to contribution (To Be Billed) and then send printed bills from those contributions with this status.
Am I missing something? Is there a better way to do this?
