Hi,
I've searched the documentation, but I cannot find an easy way to create to-do lists.
I have tried using activities and send assign them to all the contacts I want to do a certain task, but when I do this, every contact gets a lot of activity mails in stead of only one...

what am I doing wrong? How can I assign one task to several contacts so that only one task shows up on every contacts dashboard?

You can have a 'my activities' on the dashboard, using the Activities report and selecting only the ones with current user = yes?
IMO it makes sense that if you assign a mail to lots of people, lots of people get emails? This is a setting which you can also switch off. What you should be able to do is have many target contacts but only one assignee? This means that it has to be done for many contacts but the task itself is only executed by one contact.
