We have set up a discount that requires a code. It is meant to be supplied to new contacts who have never previously had a membership.
There are currently no security checks to make sure people don't use it on renewal because it hasn't been a problem with the users.

This setup works fine on the front end in that the code applies if it is manually applied and it does not automatically apply.
On the back end however it automatically applies to all memberships of the selected eligible types even if the code has not been submitted by the membership administrator.
The discount has no automatic conditions setup (See the attached screenshot) so I don't think it should be applying unless the code is manually applied.
I'm thinking that I need to file this as an issue but I wanted to check if there may a mistake with my setup.

This is CiviCRM 4.5.8 with CiviDiscount 3.0.
